Our placements are designed to be well-rounded and immersive, giving participants a chance to explore multiple departments across the business—from operations and marketing to customer service and beyond. By working closely with our team, students gain valuable insight into the inner workings of a thriving company, build practical skills, and discover how their strengths can shine in a professional environment.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row] An ambitious 18-year-old student from a local Bucks School currently studying A Levels in Maths, Business, and Law, with a keen interest in understanding how the professional world operates, Ayaan recently embarked on a work experience placement designed to offer a real-world glimpse into workplace dynamics. Why Work Experience? Ayaan’s goal was simple but insightful: to observe how people communicate in a professional setting and how responsibility is shared and managed across teams. From daily interactions to task ownership, Ayaan was eager to explore the unwritten rules that shape a successful workplace. “IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE THAT HELPED BUILD BOTH MY SKILLS AND MY UNDERSTANDING OF THE MARKETING WORLD.” Reflections from an Employer Earlier this term, we had the pleasure of working with Ayaan who arranged his placement through Unifrog. From the outset, he showed genuine interest in our sector and arrived with clear goals for what he hoped to gain. It was refreshing to see that level of preparation. Throughout the week, he asked thoughtful questions, contributed to team tasks, and took time to reflect on his experience—something he managed through Unifrog’s placement tools. From our perspective, the process was smooth, and it was clear that Ayaan was actively thinking about how the experience connected to his future plans. It’s always encouraging to see young people take initiative, and we were glad to support his development in a small but meaningful way. What is Unifrog?
