JUNE Medical is proud to announce that it will be launching the groundbreaking HandMe® Galaxy II Retractor – an innovative solution specifically designed to improve access and vision for hand surgeons – at the South West Association for Surgery of the Hand annual meeting in the UK on the 7th of March 2025. This will be followed by its European debut at Mallorca Hand 2025, the Joint Congress of the Spanish Society for Surgery of the Hand (SECMA) and the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) from the 23rd to the 25th of April, before release globally.
The patent-pending HandMe Galaxy II Retractor is a 3-in-1 solution that eliminates the need for a surgical assistant or additional devices – including a lead hand, retractor and sutures – during hand surgery. It enhances access, visibility and control for the surgeon while reducing instrument clutter and procedure costs for conditions such as Dupuytren’s contracture. Unique finger hats, with a dimpled surface to prevent slipping, firmly attach digits to a slightly raised platform without constricting blood flow, and small, low profile hooks secured around the base frame offer gentle, precise and reliable retraction without causing unnecessary trauma. The versatile HandMe Galaxy II Retractor – made of a strong, resilient and recyclable material to reduce the environmental impact – is suitable for all complex hand surgery procedures in both paediatric and adult patients.
